Job Description:
Our client is an engineering, design, and manufacturing specialists (metal stamping experts). Their market is global, they are innovative and dynamic, and built on a solid thirty year foundation of delivering exceptional value to their customers in the vehicle and industrial marketplace. Due to the ongoing successes their growth the need to bring on an Quebec Sales Specialist has become rather important.
Our client is looking for a salesperson that will be working as an outside sales specialist. The person would be responsible to be on the road two weeks per month through Quebec, the Ottawa region, and the Maritimes . A minimum of 14 physical sales calls per week will be required when the person is on the road.
Outside Sales
The majority of our business is within a 100 kilometer radius of Montreal.
65% of their “road” time will be within the 100 kilometer radius. Include Granby, Drummondville, Valleyfield, Joliette, et cetera in this radius.
The person will be required to travel to Quebec City and surrounding, 2 days per 6 weeks.
Ottawa, 2 days per 6 weeks.
The Maritimes are part of this territory, 3 trips per year would be required, 4 days per trip-16 sales calls per trip
Responsibilities
-Business development
-Account management / Account development
-Budget management-Hit monthly and quarterly sales objectives
– Experience selling into companies who need custom metal stamping work done.
-Reporting:
– Call reports for every visit performed. The call report would be due the following day.
Action reports related to phone activities
– Monthly new business and target account listing
– Budget management
– Quote follow up and management
The person will be required to set up their sales week , developing customers, along with their inside sales responsibilities.
