Skill: credit risk management , portfolio , portfolio management , credit evaluation , credit manager , credit monitoring , risk management , lending , loans , underwriting , risk; Exp: 5-8 years; Credit Manager – ( RB 000079 ) Description Strategic/ Managerial Responsibilities Credit Risk Management of Retail loans portfolio Simplification of processes through automation and digitization projects Strengthening Systems, Controls & Processes for robust compliance Superior & Consistent Customer Service Core Responsibilities Portfolio quality Ensuring the portfolio quality within the Risk appetite Designing product specific strategies on the basis of historical performance data Portfolio Review and Management Standardize the credit monitoring for portfolio risk management Establish trigger mechanism for portfolio risk management and monitor the trigger Breaches Portfolio level tracking of various risk parameters to foresee the risk trend Proactively align risk strategies with business to decide on which portfolio to grow, cut back or modify Adhere to product specific timely renewals of portfolio triggers and monitoring of shape of portfolio by segment with performance. Design and execute digital solutions for the unit, with the help of technology unit. Monitor actual loss vs forecasted loss on the portfolio, on regular frequency Assist in development of the product construct , credit manual and development /usage of application score cards Assist in implementation of appropriate software systems and in training to the underwriting team Conduct / supervise process audits (including Post Approval Reviews) to monitor performance. Competitive benchmarking, Vendor management, Bureau Relationship Regular engagement with competitors, stakeholders, Bureau, Manufacturers, Developers, vendors to align to changes in lending environment. Usage of Bureau for portfolio management and undertake policy decisions on basis of Bureau insight of market People Management or Self-Management Responsibilities Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are monitored and achieved during the course of the year. Understands the competencies relevant to his/her role, and works towards displaying as well as developing these effectively. Risk and Internal Control Responsibilities Follow Bank policy and processes to mitigate the operational, regulatory, financial, informational, and reputational and audit risks as instructed by departmental manager. To improve credit hygiene parameters with a view to mitigate the risk and to ensure timely documentation Qualifications A CA/ MBA from a reputed institute 5-8 years post qualification experience in credit evaluation in a Bank Primary Location India-Telangana-Hyderabad
