Skill: inventory , customs , supply chain , supply chain analyst , import / export , transportation , procurement; Exp: 0-3 years; Overview The Co-op program at Akamai provides current college students the opportunity to work full time for a period of 4 to 6 months within their field of study. Students who accept a Co-op position are given the opportunity to dive deep into projects and responsibilities and gain valuable hands on work experience. Students must be enrolled in a degree program with the intent to return to that program at the conclusion of their Co-op. The typical Co-op cycles run from January to June or July to December. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, program participants will be invited to a variety of formal and informal trainings, interact frequently with company leadership, and attend social events. The Supply Chain Coop will help Supply Chain Analysts and Project Managers with activities performed in support of the Supply Chain Organization. The Supply Chain Intern will also perform data analysis and build excel reports to compare data and look at trends, as well as interact with Manufacturers, 3PLs, Carriers, Repair Vendors, and other Akamai Network members. As a Supply Chain Analyst Co-op, you will be responsible for * Audit Daily/monthly inbound/outbound reports from warehouses. * Enter requisitions in Oracle to ensure we have enough inventory in our deployment warehouses. * Data analysis and excel reports anything extracted from Analytics that requires review, analysis, validation, etc. * Run queries in Siebel to make sure we are staying on top of SLAs. * Help Supply Chain maintain accuracy of information in database (Siebel & Wiki). About the Team Supply Chain Group is part of the Productivity group. We work with the Network Account Management. Network Partner Services, Service Management and Infrastructure Operations teams providing support so they can deploy and maintain the Akamai Network. Our primary responsibilities are encapsulated in the management of Akamais network equipment from birth to death. This includes, but is not limited to, import/export, procurement, warehousing, distribution, certification, customs regulations compliance, shipping, transportation, advance exchange, repairs, and asset end of life. Required Skills *Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in related field and returning to the program after completion of the internship. * Strong computer skills (MS Excel).
