Job Description – Commercial Banking
Key technical competencies
Experience in Management reporting, Financial Statement Reporting Analyses in a large BFSI GIC or Captive/Offshore center
Expert knowledge in profitability reporting, business performance analysis and commentaries by Product and Segment in banking finance domain
Experience in preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly Revenue reporting analysis and dashboard/ management review packs
Ability to integrate, organize and manage high volume of complex data from multiple sources
Provide weekly and monthly management reporting on the business portfolio such as Loan trending, Treasury reporting, exception reporting, and line of business comparative level insights
Generate various Excel based reports that provide management with information on trends, major movements and quarterly segmentation report with several other key measures
Take responsibility and accountability for robust quality control and standards
Proactive approach to identify and highlight major gaps and provide solutions
Ad hoc projects as requested
Key skills/ Desirable Characteristics
Relevant experience ranging between 3-5 years in PA banking finance domain
Experience for a large BFSI GIC or Captive will be considered favorably
Experience on Corporate Controllership, Business Finance, Project management and similar environment will be considered favorably
Successful track record in working with others to deliver results
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment while carrying multiple projects at any given time
Strong ability to communicate / present ideas and plans verbally and in writing
Curious, energetic and highly proactive in nature and always focusing on opportunity arising from situations
No excuses” culture and mindset as a belief system
Prior stakeholder engagement (VP and above) is desirable
CA / CMA/ CPA/ CIMA / CFA / MBA – Finance
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred.
