As a Business Manager, you will be a member of the Australian CCB leadership team and be responsible for managing the in-business controls for CCB Australia as well as the delivery of timely and reliable financial and business-related reports for management decision-making and strategy development. Key responsibilities will include Implementation of global, regional and country risk and control policy requirements and processes by working closely with partners such as Compliance, Legal, Operational/Enterprise Risk Management on standards & regulatory interpretation Monitoring of outsourced functions Oversight of service providers, including conducting of annual due diligence reviews Oversight of the Anti-Money Laundering / Know-Your-Customer process, including ensuring KYC renewals and AML alerts are completed timely by the RMs and coordination with the Business Support Unit in Mumbai Audit management To prepare for internal & external audits, including interfacing with auditors and reporting back issues to senior management Promote a strong culture of risk and control awareness and compliance with policies and requirements in CCB Assist in root cause analysis for material risk events and control breaks including an effective feedback loop to local and regional management Support the APAC Head CCB Business Risk & Control and the CCB business with (1) the design, implementation, and validation of control issues and their associated Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) in line with the Banks CAP Directive; and (2) driving global and regional IBC initiatives Evaluate, assess and validate controls through processes and tools including MCA, Key Operational Risks Indicators (KORs/KRIs), and other related indicators Oversee the complaint management process Delivery of timely and reliable financial and business-related reports for management decision-making and strategy development Maintaining & enhancing MIS to track business drivers and performance Delivery of timely and accurate sales report at RM level Performing analysis on business and sales performance Preparation of business review decks and other strategy and management decks as required Preparation and monitoring of division budgets and forecasts Effective cost management ensuring expenses are managed within budget Administration of sales incentive schemes #LI-W Qualifications Key skills and experiences required Strong background in Risk Management (Audit or Compliance), Operational risk or Credit risk Good understanding of the Commercial Bank business and operating model will be highly regarded Must have analytical inquisitiveness and problem-solving ability Must be able to influence key partners within and outside of CCB, e.g. cross-functional groups such as Compliance, AML, Enterprise Risk Management, Operations and Technology Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong project management skills Experience in budgeting, planning and financial reporting University degree or higher (MA or MBA highly regarded) Diversity is a key business imperative and a source of strength at Citi.
