BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Strong problem-solving ability with effective communication and data presentation capabilities Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Information systems or related technical field 3 years of hands-on industry experience in statistical modelling and large data analysis Strong knowledge on Machine learning, Statistics, Operational research, Linear programming and Simulation Working knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and big data platforms 3 years R/Python, SQL and Hive (or similar scripting language) Advanced SQL skills, with experience querying extremely large datasets from multiple sources and developing automated reporting using python or any other scripting language Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner Hands on experience with visualization tools like Tableau, D3, Shiny QuickSight etc. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Advanced proven statistical skills (Six Sigma / Lean) and data modelling with software and/or scripts (Minitab, Python, R) Experience in simulation and operations research is strongly preferred Knowledge of AWS including Redshift, RDS, S3 Excellent verbal/written communication & data presentation skills and the ability to succinctly summarize key findings and effectively communicate with both business and technical teams Track record of diving into data to discover hidden patterns and of conducting error/deviation analysis Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
