Job Title Senior Associate / Assistant CTI Manager – Global Platforms Job Location Mumbai HURC Unilever is market leader in Skin Cleansing category and has been growing well over several years. The teams responsibilities span new product development, improving value equation of current products and managing specifications for product manufacture/quality. The incumbent would be responsible for CTI & Claims. To that effect the person is required to have a strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative consumer research along with the ability to manage global stake holders across R&D, Marketing and CMI. Key accountabilities Lead early stage research including expert and nave panels Lead quantitative, qualitative and desk research across relevant markets Lead discussions on claims and be responsible for claims generation, support and defense Develop and maintain an extensive database of insights through mining historic research data Lead in silico data modelling Lead discussions on CTI and Claims with key stake holders R&D, Marketing and CMI Key Interfaces To a very large extent, effective results will be delivered by working with large global and regional contacts including Development managers, TPLs, Fragrance Managers, CTI/Claims teams, GDC and RDC Directors The incumbent is expected to work with large cross functional global and regional teams. Critical success Factors for the Job Ensure the consumers needs form the foundation of all product design; Guide product design to that effect, so at to deliver products that win with consumers. Expertise in consumer research across quantitative and qualitative methodologies Comfortable with sifting through large amounts of data and information in order to identify relevant insights; converting insights into growth drivers for the business Convert business issues into research problems & deliver (OTIF) impactful answers through research Work independently with the CTI/Claims team and consistently elevate the teams capability Key Skills and experience Professional skills/background Bachelors degree in Science or engineering discipline or related area MBA would be considered a General skills/competencies Must have an ability to understand business issues & therefore the needs of the business Excellent communication skills written and verbal Must have strong influencing skills to manage both internal as well as external stakeholders; And a demonstrated ability to build & manage relationships with senior stakeholders Needs to be able to collaborate with teams in order to deliver quick & impactful results Ability to actively drive an agenda within a complex Unilever context Knowledge of the process of Designing and Deploying differentiated products on time in full Continuously strive to improve business process techniques Strong networking, organization, planning skills and information management Relevant Experience Expertise in consumer research with 4 years of experience Must have expertise in quantitative and qualitative research techniques Needs to have a basic appreciation for formulation design A well-developed networking and people management ability
