Consumer Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Our Risk Management professionals work directly with Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Auto/Student Loan, Card and Commerce Services, Chase Wealth Management and Mortgage Banking to minimize, monitor and control the probability of risk events and mitigate the impact of risk events that do occur.
The Credit Risk Manager/Leader is responsible for managing risk strategy policies, developing and maintaining MIS reports and other process standards and performing complex activities related to improving collections performance. The candidate will be responsibility for managing collections for cards (or) overdraft portfolio, making decisions recommendation based on risk-return analysis, directly manage business partner relationship. The role would involve project management responsibilities, thought leadership to execute projects.
Description

Partner and present findings to senior business leaders including CRO

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline from Tier 1 institute; Math, Finance, Statistics, Economics or MBA from Tier 1 institute. Advanced degree is preferred.
Minimum of 6 years of related analytical experience
In depth knowledge of credit risk capabilities, metrics, and strategy
Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills. Ability to synthesize / analyse diverse information, develops recommendations, and makes decisions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals across departments / functions and with senior-level individuals
Proven record in problem solving and business innovation
Project Management Skills — well-organized, structured approach. Ability to manage and prioritize projects across cross-functional groups
Ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables
Strong knowledge and understanding of financial services
Strong knowledge of SAS, SQL, Excel and other analytic tools required
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
