Skill: production , ideas , prototype , planning; Exp: 0-3 years; The Business The Role If your expertise lies in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Physics or Engineering, a position as Resource Management – Analysis is ideal for you. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the regular production of RMs internal business analysis in order to enable RMs ongoing management of the banks financial resources.o qualify for this role, you need to have working knowledge of at least two of the following C , Python, Matlab, SQL, or VBA, coupled with a proactive approach. What the Business Does This role is based in the Portfolio Risk & Resource Management, NWM COO reporting to the Resource Management Director. Your Responsibilities As Resource Management – Analysis, you will be required to Support the regular production of RMs internal business analysis across Counterparty RWA, Market Risk & Credit Risk Credit in order to help support RMs management of the banks financial resources Assist with the regular operation of RMs business-wide data platform ReMaP Play a role in operating insightful analytics to explain the drivers of financial Resource utilisation under base and stressed conditions Contribute analytical support to ad hoc strategic projects as required, across the Resource Management teams activity Manage and supervise the risks in the business area, ensuring mechanisms are in place to identify, report, manage and mitigate risk within defined risk appetite. Skills you need An exemplary academic record in a quantitative discipline (BSc/MSc/PhD in Mathematics, Physics or Engineering) A base understanding of different products that investment banks trade, their risks and the types of clients they service IT proficiency is essential, and you will have a good working knowledge of at least two of the following C , Python, Matlab, SQL, or VBA The ability to quickly prototype ideas is required, and the successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
