Skill: brochures , os , infographics , photoshop , indesign , illustrator; Exp: 0-3 years; Associate Publishing Specialist (Adobe Indesign) Thomson Reuters Publishing / Editorial 10/23/2018 11841 PM Hyderabad, India Job Description Responsibilities Create and assist in cover design/other design needs, such as photo retouching, photo and logo scanning, file preparation for brochures, flyers, infographics, etc. Provide backup coverage for Sr. Publishing Specialists. Assist Sr. Publishing Specialists with image searches, file preps, revisions and participate in special projects. [Special Projects] Discuss with Sr. Publishing Specialists to understand design needs and goals of the project in order to create the requisite graphical prototypes for review. Collect, convert, and edit text and graphical materials provided by internal clients for those prototypes as necessary. Scope & Impact Works under direct supervision of the team’s Manager. Decisions are made within guidelines set for the team and best practices should be followed/implemented. Accountable for the quality of own work, delivered within agreed procedures and time-frames and focused on internal and/or external customer needs. Impact is within the immediate project/design team. Knowledge & Skill Strong knowledge of Adobe design software (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/OS and Mac Software. Strong detail orientation. Ability to create concepts within specified deadline. Strong organization and time management skills. Good written and verbal communication. Ability to function well under pressure.
