An Assistant Security Manager will be assisting the SecurityManager in the day-to-day management of theentire security and safety components, implementing and managing the hotel securityand safety programs based on the company corporate standards to ensure thesecurity and safety for all guests/visitors and team members. Cooperating withall local government agencies to ensure compliance to local & internationallegislation and best practice. Managing, training, and assessing performance ofthe entire security personnel.
**What will I be doing?**
As an Assistant Security Manager, you will beassisting the SecurityManager in the day-to-day management of the entire security and safety components, implementing and managing the hotel security and safety programs based on the company corporate standards to ensure the security and safety for all guests/visitors and team members. Cooperating with all local government agencies to ensure compliance to local & international legislation and best practice. Managing, training, and assessing performance of the entire security personnel.Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
+ Implementing and managing the hotel Security andFLS programs based on the hotel and corporate standards to ensure secure environmentfor guest, visitors and staff.
+ Maintain order in the hotel, dealing with thewelfare of guests, assisting with problems, and coordinate expedient responseto emergency conditions such as fire or safety hazards and threats to lifeand/or property in a calm, rational and persuasive manner. Handle undesiredconduct, violations of hotel policy and civil laws as warranted for thesecurity and safety of hotel guests, team members, patrons and property.
+ Promote secure and safe work practices. Assistin ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and preventive measures. Assist inthe development, administration and implementation of safety and securityincentive programs and safety and security training. Visually identify correctand record safety and security hazards.
+ Lead and direct investigations of accidents,thefts, property loss and unlawful activities, Document details and advise themanagement.
+ Direct coordination of training in Security,CPR, fire and life safety as well as other Corporate approved programs.
+ Prepare the monthly payroll forecast and the CorporateProperty Loss Report
+ Conduct regular patrol of the property to ensureall areas are safe and secure
+ Conduct Security Department meetings. Attend and participatein other hotel functions and meetings as required.
+ Maintain good communication and work relationships in all areas of the hotel
+ Liaising with clients and local enforcement.
+ Prepare and conducts audits related to safety and security
+ Periodically review and update a variety ofdepartment guidelines.

+ Security Manager Certificate from Dubai Police
+ Basic Fire Fighting qualification

+ OSHA or NEBOSH Certificate
