Our Global Service Centers (GSCs) are strategically positioned in Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad to support the firm’s operations regionally and globally. The centers provide comprehensive strategic support across technology and business operations processing to all lines of business and the corporate functions.
The candidate will be required to oversee and be responsible for managing Ops businesses in Mumbai/Bangalore for the Asset Management.
The candidate will have a direct reporting line into the Vice President and will be directly responsible for the day to day operations, including transaction processing, Operational Systemic controls.
The candidate will be responsible for understanding the key metrics and risk components within each process within the Operations world and manage the team to meet the financial goals and objectives put forth by these processes, while partnering globally with the regions where the business operations are located.
Adaptability – Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks through effective prioritization. He / She should have ability to work under pressure and to meet stringent deadlines is essential. The candidate should be able accessible throughout the operating window to ensure appropriate oversight
Candidate should be target oriented to meet CTQs and KPI benchmarks.
Should facilitate adequate governance for adherence of operational procedures to complete task in an accurate and timely manner.
Strong Client Focus. Strong time management and ability to coordinate with various teams to action items. Should be able to manage strong stakeholder connect and should have the ability to add value to the discussions. Ability to influence others.
Analytical – Ready to analyze the process flows and ideate on operational improvements. Candidate should be detailed in approach and meticulous and should have the ability to Identify / analyze gaps and implement robust controls.
Strong team player and must have the capability to build good working relationships with cross functional/geographical teams.
Communication (Spoken – Assertiveness Written) – Ability to communicate effectively and assist Client Service Specialists / Front Office Groups / Middle Office Groups with queries/investigations. Should be able to lead the team or manage query emails from Front Office / Middle Office / Counterparties.
Control orientated and Risk / regulatory awareness is essential. Understand Operational Risks to reduce Risk Profile.

· Candidate with in depth understanding of Securities market with particular focus on Asset Servicing experience.
· 10 years plus experience in leading Operations teams in Middle office / Back Office roles ( Middle Office, Asset Servicing, Data Management, Trade Support, Settlements, etc.)
· Prior experience in managing teams
· Ability to communicate in a clear and precise manner.
· Good analytical and presentation skills
· High visible energy / drive
