Skill: fpga , verification , hardware , eda , altera , schematic , asic design , verilog , signal integrity; Exp: 3-5 years; Application Engineer Job Description Job Description-The Application Engineer is primarily a Platform Engineer.-Significant contribution also result when the AE acts as a product evangelist, program/project manager and a marketer.-Act as consultants and provide support to Intel FPGA.-Help developers create or move their products to Intel FPGA, achieve the best performance of their applications on Intel FPGA, and prepare collateral material to capture methods and demonstrate their results.Key Duties and responsibilities-Work with customers, Intel PSG and Distribution field personnel in multiple geographies, and specialist colleagues to enable design wins and bring issues to closure as efficiently as possible.-Responsible to provide guidance and support to customers on the usage of Intel PSG FPGA hardware features such as high speed serial I/O interface transceivers, PLL, memory, and power.-Have the opportunities to support all phases in customer design process which includes schematic and design planning.-Typical day-to-day interaction will be with the Intel PSG worldwide customers through an established Intel PSG Technical Support platform mySupport. Qualifications Qualifications-Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience.-Knowledge of FPGA/ASIC architecture and its application implementation especially on high speed serial I/O buffer, Peripheral, Power and PLL.-Familiar with FPGA/ASIC design with Verilog or VHDL, standard EDA flows, design synthesis and verification tool flows.-Fundamentals in board level debug, signal integrity, transmission line theory, power distribution network analysis.-Analytical and strong problem solving skills, and ability to drive issues to closure are essential.-Highly motivated to learn and adapt to fast-changing technologies and environments.-Strong verbal and written communications skills in English are required Inside this Business Group The Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) was formed from the acquisition of Altera.
