Back to Job Navigation (Rewards) Responsibilities Description JOB TITLE Associate Process Consultant DEPARTMENT TBO Global Leveraged Operations REPORTS TO Client Operations Manager JOB PURPOSE APC is responsible for ensuring the benefit plans are consistently administered and in compliance with client requirement policies and government regulations. The position is also primarily responsible for handing escalated benefit issues in a timely manner, updating Conduent internal benefits tools and resources, as well as auditing benefits data. This position will serve as primary resource for the organizations third party benefits administrator and other plan vendors. RESPONSIBILITIES May perform one or more of the following Serves as subject matter expert on Client benefit plan (Retirement Service) Handles non-routine benefit inquiries, projects and complaints in a timely manner Research, analyze, evaluate, and assist with administering ongoing service delivery Evaluates and assesses new approaches to current processes and issues Assist with the implementation of new plans, programs, and changes to plans or administrative procedures and assure compliance with Client requirement Establishes key vendor relationships, develops an in-depth understanding of benefit operations and initiate process improvements to ensure programs run efficiently and effectively Provides technical support on annual plan audits, government filings, non-discrimination testing, benefit integrations, and other related compliance activities Supports the Annual Open Enrollment process, including but not limited to related meetings Review/research/update benefits communications, related documents and reference materials for use by both internal and external audiences Mentor and provide SME support to the team Conduct client/domain specific trainings across teams REQUIREMENT (Experience, Qualification, Knowledge & Skills) Bachelors Degree 5-7 years of experience in benefits administration Working knowledge of ERISA, DOL and IRS regulations and correction programs, retirement plan compliance testing rules, regulatory changes, plan documents, trust accounting and valuation Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including experience identifying problems and providing effective resolutions Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills SUPERVISION Minimal/no supervision required.
