The team is responsible for adoption and execution of FC global policies and practices in the region. The team is also responsible for ongoing monitoring and tracking of Key performance indicators and providing management with relevant dashboards in this regard Your Role The key responsibilities of the role includes Preparation of monthly P&L and Balance Sheet analysis Preparation of monthly recoverability analysis for service entity Preparation of monthly FX exposure analysis Preparation of monthly Inform substantiation Processing of various month-end journals Preparation of monthly tax computation Compiling dashboard and tracking the progress on Statutory Financials and audit for various entities in the region Support Balance Sheet Control in global control initiatives Essential Skills o Qualified Accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCA o Strong academic background 1st /2nd class honours, minimum bachelor degree from a reputable institution o Relevant years post qualification experience o Experience in a month-end or quarter-end focused reporting role o Knowledge and understanding of the key accounting principles under IFRS o Strong excel skills o Previous experience with having used either SAP or Hyperion o Good analysis and problem solving skills o Strong control awareness. o Good stakeholder engagement skills and understanding & executing their requirements / expectations Desirable skills o Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter, pro-active and a team player o Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicator o Willingness and ability to take ownership of issues and manage through to a successful resolution o Eye for detail and exception track record in managing and resolving conflict situations o Assertiveness, tenacious and control focused o Expected to take accountability/responsibility of deliverables o Answerable to questions and able to substantiate data when required by client-facers o Required to provide detailed analysis and information on complex queries/problems and communicate to stakeholders on proposed solutions and recommendations o Able to perform good analysis, resolve problems and initiate workable innovative recommendations and solutions to take the function forward to achieve better performance efficiencies.
