The Role As an entry level associate within Willis Re MENA you will be responsible for providing assistance in the actuarial analyses within the Willis Re MENA team based in Dubai. The role is to assist brokers in actuarial analyses in order to provide the best service offering to our existing clients, add value with innovative ideas, and support in prospecting new clients. Works and needs are always evolving as this is a growing and fast developing market. Actuarial daily analyses are mainly related to Portfolio analysis, Pricing, Dynamic Financial Analysis, Reinsurance optimisation and expert advisory. In parallel, various on-going projects have to be followed to improve our service offering, value added and innovation. Role based in Dubai and Permanent full time required. Territorial scope MENA Business Scope Reinsurance Treaties (all lines of business) Objectives Clients Deliver analysis that meet or exceed client expectation Increase efficiency within the team by identifying ways to improve processes Monitor progress to deadlines and organisation Excellence Assist with business planning, pricing, view of risk, product development and reinsurance Support portfolio growth, development and/or restructuring by identifying the best adapted reinsurance protection Assist with key market stakes rating, capital adequacy, regulatory & solvency compliance Innovation ideas to add value in our service offering Communication Build strong relationships internally and with client representatives Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels Capacity to explain technical/scientific mechanisms in basic/easy terms to non-scientific audience The Requirements Master Degree (or above) in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics or numerate related field Undertaking an approved international actuarial qualification and be part way through the exams Written and spoken fluency in English. French or Arabic would be a plus.
