Accounting Manager Job Purpose Responsible for managing, directing, supervising and coordinating the activities of the Accounting Department to ensure completeness, existence, accuracy and correct valuation of all the company data for legal, operational and tax accounting; coordinating accounting activities with the Business Units, other departments legal and tax auditors and outside agencies; providing highly responsible and administrative support to the Country Head of Finance. Responsibilities Policies, Guidelines and Objectives; Ensures the adherence to Statutory (Local IFRS), Tax & Group accounting guidelines and principles Manages and participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and targets for the Accounting Department Assist CHOF in implementation of finance & statutory guidelines Assits CHOF in development and implementation of local policies and procedures &&Planning and Decision Tasks; Plans and organise& all services and activities of the Accounting Department Identifies tax risks and advise the local management on further improvement potentials Identifies resources needed for departmental activities (staffing, office equipment, purchased services, working environment, etc.) & Functional Tasks; Supervise all services and activities of the Accounting Department (management of general accounting, tax matters, tax declarations control & submited to tax office, account receivables, reconciliation on cash and bank accounts, commercial accounting sub-department, etc.) Meet with staff to identify and resolve problems Managing all accounting tasks due to general ledger accounting activities and ensuring accurate bookkeeping and month end / year end closing operations Coordination btw GBS Poland and local team ( AR and AP) Provide administrative support to assist the CHOF and other staff in the completion of their duties and responsibilities Provide assistance in monitoring of costs of investment projects Advise Company Management on tax matters Assist CHOF in planning and coordination of internal and external audits together with auditors & auditees Assist audit staff as necessary; assist in preparing company's formal response to audit recommendations Supervise and participate in preparation of financial and administrative reports (monthly management reports, quarterly operational and financial reports, yearly legal accounting tax decleration, year-end closing etc.) Analyze financial reports and records to determine trends or irregularities Supervise in Preparation of Tranfer Pricing Report (Identification of related transaction, fill in the standart Tranfer pricing form, provided to auditors requested info & documentation ) Internal Control system made necessary update. & People Management; Ensure leadership to manage performance of Accounting Department (motivation of the staff, work with employees to correct deficiencies etc.)& Ensure people development within the department (performance evaluations, identification of talents, personnel development / training programs etc) &Continuous Improvement; Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes& (review and evaluate of the results, methods and procedures) Identify opportunities for improvement, review them with the CHOF and implement agreed actions Manage / follow-up corrective and proventive actions resulting from internal and external audit findings and self-assessment Requirements Bachelor's degree from a university with major coursework in accounting, finance, independent audit& and other related field, Certified Public& Accountant, Profound know how and experience in financial accounting (IFRS, local GAAP, local tax accounting) in an international operated environment, Several years of administrative and supervisory responsibility, Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal English, Experience and good knowledge of SAP system, Competent in Office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word), Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, Effective communication skills, Military obligation for male candidates must have completed.
