Responsible for design, integration and implementation of global manufacturing and quality supervisory control and automated equipment data collection applications for Global manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities:

+ Lead short and mid-term strategic efforts to digitize the manufacturing process at the Edwards manufacturing facilities through cross functional project work, focusing on process efficiency and global quality compliance standards

+ Technical lead for planning of teams to execute transformation projects across the organizations process control network and automation ecosystem generating tangible business results while working seamlessly with cross functional team members within and across other business units

+ Be a focal resource to lead in influencing change by implementing process improvement projects that impact multiple functional areas.

+ Lead teams to execute projects utilizing appropriate methodology (manufacturing, transactional, DFM) to include tracking project status and results, anticipating and removing project barriers, and developing team members

+ Continuously improve manufacturing production flow, visibility, and applications integrations to enable data liquidity and access

+ Provide training and coaching for peers and business partners

+ Other incidental duties

Education & Experience:

+ Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Information Technology or Engineering; Master’s degree preferred

+ 10 years of work experience required where 7 years include a demonstrated track record of technical SCADA system implementation in manufacturing roles within a variety of industries is preferred

+ Proven successful project management skills

+ Experience in the manufacturing of high technology medical devices, healthcare or a regulated industry preferred

+ Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

+ Ability to provide strategic technical leadership and lead by influence for the creation, alignment and communication of the long-term strategy roadmaps to all levels of the business

+ Recognized as an expert in own area with specialized depth and breadth of expertise

+ Expert knowledge of manufacturing operations, facilities EMS and BMS, and maintenance preferred

+ Expert knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s), SCADA systems, and automated equipment implementation

+ Knowledge of other IT related functions that may affect the manufacturing process (i.e., Networking, Database Structure, Equipment Connectivity, Data Collections Options, etc.)

+ Must be driven and have an enthusiasm to learn and develop key business skills

+ Ability to influence and work effectively with multiple levels in a matrixed organizational structure is essential

+ Strict attention to detail

+ Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

+ Ability to adapt to new technologies and a rapidly changing environment

+ Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
