We are currently looking for a new Junior Lab Technician to join one our Main Production lab team during the night shift for a period of one to two months to help covering the current high demand of our products. Joining the main production lab means that you have the opportunity to witness and be responsible for the birth of our DNA and RNA oligos, guide them through the entire production process and finally deliver an oligo of the highest quality of which you, the company and the customer can be proud of.
You will get to know the different production steps: from synthesis to purification (HPLC) and processing of the oligo (analyzing QC samples etc.). Each step requires other skills and therefore we give our lab technicians the opportunity to get involved in every phase by a weekly rotating schedule.
We offer a full time lab job from Sunday evening to Friday morning (working hours: 10pm-7am) and apart from a nice salary you get rewarded with a 25% bonus. Preferably you have a degree in biotechnology, (bio)chemistry, or any life science studies in which you gained some lab experience.
What else we expect from all new colleagues? Proficiency in English, good computer skills, ability to multi-task and last but not least: the eager to be welcomed by a warm team in a modern, international, dynamic and respectful environment.
And who knows? Perhaps you can get the chance to pursue a permanent contract at IDT!
