+ Responsible for theidentification of the electrical failure mechanism that leads to thefailure of the product. These failures can have various origins,application failures from customers, production failures, design bugs,test issues, assembly issues,… Particularly for the automotive market inEurope. State-of –the Art diagnostic equipment (like emission microscopes,digital diagnostic testers,…) enable the engineer to localise thefailure inside the chip.
+ The Failure Analysis engineeris responsible for composing a problem descriptive customer report,according the 8D metholodology.
+ Initiate interdepartementalinteraction in order to find the root cause of the problem.
+ Prepare the lab for theintroduction of new products, so that the failure analysis is guaranteed.
+ Develop new, innovativeanalysis techniques that enable the lab to stay of the marketdevelopments.
+ Master in Engineering (electronics) is a minimumrequirement.
+ 2-5 years of relevant experience is a plus.
+ Strong analytical insight in electroniccircuitry.
+ Effective decision making skills.
+ Experience in image sensor is a plus
+ Pro-active and constructive communication skills,english (verbal and writing).
+ Strong team player.
+ Customer oriented.
+ Taking Initiative.
+ Willing to travel (limited).
