In this role, as part of a small integrated team, you will provide expertise and hands-on electronic security systems knowledge and activity on small moderately complex installation projects and will act as M.C. Dean’s point of contact for field operations to our U.S. Government customer. You will participate in planning, logistics and execution for personnel and equipment as well as the review of design documentation for efficient and timely installation and maintenance activities. Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to:
+ Participating in the configuration of servers, workstations, panels and other programmable components.
+ Programming head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.
+ Installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining end/end electronic security systems and hardware.
+ Completing quality control punch lists such as Performance Verification Testing and Final Acceptance.
+ Completing project documentation per M.C. Dean standards such as Change Orders, Requests for Information (RFIs), Detailed Daily Reports, Takeoff Sheets and Daily Time recoding.
+ Installing all head end equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.
Minimum Position / Candidate Requirements
+ U.S. Citizenship and an Active TS Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
+ Education and Experience: Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Relevant Discipline
+ BS Degree of Above and at least 5 years of the following Progressive Experience or
+ Associate Degree and at least 8 years of the following Progressive Experience or
+ High School Diploma or a GED and at least 10 years of the following Progressive Experience.
+ Required Progressive Experience:
+ Electronics Installation and/or Maintenance on Multiple Systems.
+ Security + or Similar Certifications.
+ One or More of the following:
+ Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours).
+ Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program.
+ Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program.
+ A valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record.
+ A valid Passport and Ability/Prepared to Relocate to Europe.
+ Ability to Travel Extensively Within the Region.
Desired / Advantageous Qualifications
+ Certifications and Experience in installing and maintaining Lenel systems.
+ Strong communications, time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
+ A background working with multidisciplinary teams.
+ Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus.
+ Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of time.
+ Relocates a 12 foot stepladder without assistance.
+ Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.
+ Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
+ Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
+ May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
+ Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
