**Your Opportunity**

We have an exciting full-time
opportunity for you to join our Crush Plant in Footscray as a Weighbridge Operator.
Reporting to the Lab-Elevator Supervisor, you will be responsible for processing
all incoming and outgoing truck movements through the site in a safe, efficient
manner. The position will primarily
ensure the correct documentation of truck movements, testing of incoming
seed trucks and inspection of incoming and outgoing product (oil, meal) trucks.

You will bring in your
well-developed knowledge of working within a high performing team and with a
strong customer focus. You will be a self-starter with a positive attitude and
team player skills, with a willingness to collaborate, problem solve and help achieve
the desired business outcomes. You will have an
ability to communicate well with others, both verbally and written and be able
to adapt quickly to change.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

+ Weighing anddocumentation of all site vehicle movements;

+ Inspection of incomingmeal trucks for cleanliness and seals being intact on oil trucks;

+ Samplingand testing of incoming seed trucks (GM testing, density and moisture);

+ Assist, wherenecessary, truck drivers in oil and meal loadout;

+ Issue sample containersfor all outgoing loads;

+ Liaise with alldepartments regarding truck movements, including CASC Supply Chain teams;

+ Induction of new truckdrivers and ensuring drivers are complying to site safety and PPE standards;

+ Troubleshootingproblems in the seed receival, elevator and meal loadout areas;

+ Housekeeping ofweighbridge and surrounding areas;

+ Adhere to work and safety instructions andtake an active role in contributing to building a safety culture. Ensurecompliance with Cargill’s Safety and Environmental policy;

+ A genuine effortto work co-operatively, taking personal accountability for creating andsupporting a team environment and showing a genuine respect for individuals;

+ Contribute to thedevelopment of a food safety culture. Adhere to processes and procedures,directions in relation to food safety and quality management;

**Experience and skills**

To be successful in
the role, you will have:

+ Minimum SecondarySchool qualifications;

+ Holdforklift and Front End Loader certificate of competency or obtain one within 3months of the appointment (preferred);

+ Previousexperience in a similar role will be an advantage;

+ Abilityto work at heights;

+ BasicComputer skills;

+ Strongorganizational & communication skills with the ability to work calmly underpressure;

+ Strong interpersonal, verbaland written communication Skills;

+ Abilityto work independently, be self-motivated and proactive;

+ Abilityto prioritise tasks, use knowledge and initiative to problem solve promptly;


+ Ability to work flexible hours with staggered, rotating shifts;
