A Team leader position has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced individual to take on a leadership role within the Night shift Filling Production team at the Hospira (a Pfizer company) Melbourne site. Working in a dynamic manufacturing environment, you will be an energetic and motivated individual who is looking for the opportunity to be a leader within a high performing team and work collaboratively with other production areas, such as Engineering and QA.

**Main responsibilities:**

This position is responsible for the shift operation of an assigned filling line in the Oncology Department.

+ Ensuring that adequate materials and staff are present

+ Coordinating machine operation change overs and set-ups

+ Ensuring equipment is operating within cGMP guidelines and that the team adheres to all company policies and procedures when striving to achieve the daily schedule

+ Responsibility for leading the team on the relevant filling line

+ Generating team commitment to achieve site, department and team goals

**Ideally you will have the following:**

+ Experience in the pharmaceutical in a production environment

+ Experience in coaching and leading teams

+ Thorough understanding of quality systems

+ Delivery of training in a production environment

+ Knowledge and application of Good Manufacturing Practice systems

+ Demonstrated capability delivering on operational objectives

+ Experience working with and leading a team

+ Ability to work under pressure and to timelines with strong attention to detail

+ Good communication and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to effectively allocate work and provide regular feedback to team members

+ Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems based on logistical parameters

+ Good computer literacy skills
