Opportunity to work for a leading Pharmaceutical company to support the Supply Chain Operations by taking ownership and accountability for administrative aspects of inventory management, master data maintenance, interfaces management, production of reports and KPI’s as well as other general Supply Chain administration activities. This role will be key to delivering insightful, accurate and timely analysis of information, partnering with the Demand &; Supply and Logistics &; OE teams to deliver inventory management insights to meet local and global targets.This role is a fixed term contract with the end date of Nov 11th 2020.
+ The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate and support logistics activities within Australia and New Zealand to ensure goods reach their end destination in a timely and compliant manner.
+ The role will support the Supply Chain Operations by taking ownership and accountability for planning and/or controlling inventory of Finished Goods across multiple warehouses.
+ Also responsible for various administrative aspects of inventory management, master data maintenance and KPI reporting plus supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the E2E Supply Chain.
+ Through insightful, accurate and timely analysis of information and execution of core activities, the incumbent will work closely with the Market Planning and Logistics teams to seamlessly execute and deliver on operational targets and objectives.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy of all information within Pfizer ERP and Financial systems used in the management of inventory. This incorporates but is not limited to aspects of inventory and replenishment management such as:
+ Maintaining inventory systems and coordinating with Market Planners and Warehouse personnel to track and report on inventory levels across both markets in all Finished Goods Warehouses
+ Inventory replenishment activities across various DCs
+ Inventory reconciliation across all levels of the distribution network including processing Stock adjustments and Cycle count management
+ System troubleshooting and error identification
+ Product maintenance and record keeping
+ New product extensions and maintenance across all warehouse locations
+ Preparation of import/export shipping documentation
+ Invoice reconciliation
Develop & publish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that ensure sustainability of repeat business analysis activities. Maintain and update SOP’s and work instructions as a result of a continuous improvement mindset including adherence to internal compliance requirements.
+ Sound knowledge of Logistics, Warehousing and Transport practices, Import/Export disciplines and compliance requirements
+ Demonstrated strong analytical skills, ability to problem solve, think both tactically and strategically and understand complex supply chain and business models whilst maintaining attention to detail.
+ A demonstrated strong work ethic, perseverance and flexibility with excellent interpersonal, negotiation / influencing, commercial and organizational skills.
+ Experience with ERP systems – SAP or similar
+ Proficiency at intermediate level in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and experience with a reporting tool (Tableau or similar) would be advantageous.
+ Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline preferable (e.g. Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Procurement, Business Analytics) or equivalent work experience
+ Demonstrated work experience dealing with Logistics Service Providers, Transport carriers would be beneficial
+ Sound knowledge of Logistics, Warehousing and Transport practices, Import/Export disciplines and Pharmaceutical compliance requirements
