We have an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity for you to join our
Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) team within the Business Operations and
Supply Chain (BOSC) group as a Sr. EHS Specialist. You will be reporting to the
EHS Lead, CASC APAC
& Australia, New Zealand and primarily responsible to implement EHS programs and
manage risks at the grain operation sites and lab facility across Australia,
including the Head Office.
This is a hands-on role best suited to talent with core
knowledge and skills in operations, health and safety to be able to act as a
technical expert and develop, deploy and implement EHS policies and standards,
in line with the local regulations and Cargill EHS requirements. Your strengths in identifying EHS gaps, developing
mitigation plans and training staff will be critical to the success of the role
and will help us drive the ‘zero harm’ safety culture to the next level.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not
limited to **:**
+ Workclosely with Businesses and Operations to define and review EHS plan againstEHS needs, and for EHS escalation, maintenance and resolution;
+ Identifyhazards within operations & business activities and develop action plan forsignificant EHS risks, hazards and opportunities.
+ Identifyresources to execute and incorporate into EHS objectives and plans;
+ Implement,monitor and evaluate approved control processes to reduce EHS risk incontractor and outsourcing services;
+ Createan immediate incident or nonconformity notification for all required internaland external personnel and classify the incident or nonconformity according torisk.
+ Conductincident investigation based on incident classification and create/releaseformal incident communication;
+ Createreports for management, regulators and others as determined;
+ Coachand train staff to build their capability to improve and sustain EHS excellence;
+ Identifyand evaluate opportunities for improvement and create and implement correctiveaction plans;
+ Promotecontinuous improvement of EHS management system and implement recordsmanagement and record retention processes;

+ Competent in MicrosoftOffice suite;
