**Your Opportunity**

We have an exciting
opportunity for you to join the Cargill Agriculture Supply Chain (CASC) Grain
Operations team as a Site Manager for our grain storage and handling facilities
at The Gums, Queensland. Reporting
to the Regional Operations Manager, this is a busy hands-on role calling for strong
leadership skills leading grain site operations with your primary focus on Safety,
Operational efficiency, talent development/management and implementing new programs/systems.

responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

+ Managing storage operationsincluding Casuals and Contractors at the origination site;

+ Provide training in key activities onsiteincluding but not limited to tarping activities, stack building, plantoperations, site vehicles, grain sampling both on intake & out-turn;

+ Leading the executionof risk management systems and programs for EH&S & Food SafetyRegulations (FSQR) and inventory management programs at the site;

+ Leading site operations onhigh efficiency issues – operational expenses control, energy reduction index,grain quality control including shrink management;

+ Manage talent at sitelevel, including operational training programs and employee engagement,performance management, individual development plans and succession planmanagement;

+ Actively contributing tothe maintenance & reliability program for the site, as per the businessneeds;

+ Implementing new technology/systems with astrong focus on Continuous Improvement programs at the site;

+ Managing site operation on capitalmanagement (Capex), including base level improvements projects followingstandardized specifications and policies;

+ Work alongside other Site Supervisors/Operationscoordinators to align with business unit plan, looking for plant effectivenessand projects;

To be successful in this
role, you will have:

+ Strong leadership skills tolead site based teams and administer operational training on Standard OperatingProcedures (WI);

+ Ability and desire to learntechnical knowledge of grain quality-handling and projects management;

+ Ability to drive andpromote a safety culture which aligns with Cargill’s values;

+ Ability to meet/exceed keyperformance indicators;

+ Excellent interpersonal,communication and organizational skills;

+ An ability to work in achanging work environment focused on reliability and quality;

+ Ability to work in a teamenvironment and travel to the other sites as required;

+ Willingness to workflexible hours when needed to meet customer requirements;

+ Minimum Secondary School qualifications(preferred);
