We have an exciting
opportunity for you to join the Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain (CASC), Grain
Operations team as a Site Supervisor for our grain storage and handling
facilities at Dimboola, Western Victoria. Reporting to the Site Manager, Dimboola this
is a busy, hands-on role in a capacity that would require you to be a hands-on
leader with the ability to plan, focus on safety, operational efficiency,
people and reliability.
responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
+ Managing storage operations at theorigination site, leading operational employees, casuals and contractors;
+ Providing training in key activitiesonsite including tarping activities, stack building, plant operations i.e.e1, dogs, OBC, rail bins, stackers, small fel, site vehicles, grainsampling both on intake & out-turn (including Throughput programs)etc.;
+ Managing the execution ofrisk management systems and programs for both EH&S & FSQR andinventory management programs at the site;
+ Ensuring site operates on highefficiency issues (operational expenses control, energy reduction indexes,grain quality control including shrink management);
+ Taking an active role with themaintenance & reliability program for the site;
+ Assisting in the site operation oncapital management (CAPEX), including base level improvements projectsfollowing standardized specifications and policies;
+ Contributing to talent management,including operational training programs, engagement improvement,performance management and individual development plans;
+ Collaborating with the other Site Supervisors/RegionalOperations Manager to align with the business unit plan, looking for planteffectiveness and projects;

With a background in Agriculture/Grain
operations, you will be a natural hands-on leader and bring in your proven
supervisory/training skills and experience. You will have:
+ Ability to supervise employees andadminister operational training on Standard Operating Procedures (WI);
+ Ability and desire to learntechnical knowledge of grain quality-handling and projects management;
+ Ability to drive and promote asafety culture which aligns with Cargill’s values;
+ Excellent interpersonal,communication and organizational skills;
+ An ability to work in a changingwork environment focused on reliability and quality;
+ Ability to work in a teamenvironment and travel to the other sites as required;
+ Willingness to work flexible hourswhen needed to meet customer requirements;
+ Minimum Secondary School qualifications(preferred);
+ Front endloader license;
+ TrackSafety Awareness;
+ First Aidcertificate (Min level 2);
+ ConfinedSpace certificate;
+ AppropriateOccupational Health & Safety training;
+ Electricalsafety awareness;
