This position reports to: Sr. Manager – Applications Development
The charter of the ServiceNow Techops Development team is to develop business applications and customizations on the ServiceNow platform. Our team is also responsible to implement and test our newest releases before it is available to customers. The successful candidate will work across our application modules – testing the latest features of ServiceNow releases and customizations and doing efficient automations for the flows.
As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will be a key member of the Techops Development team driving the quality of our business solutions and services to the next level via automation. You will work within our agile software development process and have an important impact on the ServiceNow deliveries. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest quality testing frameworks and tools using Java, Jenkins, ATS, Selenium and more. This role requires that you have ability to work in environments requiring an Australian Government Baseline security clearance.
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
+ 7+ years professional experience in quality assurance or application development.
+ Australian Government Baseline security clearance or who is able to obtain Baseline security clearance.
+ MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
+ Experience working within a wide variety of automated testing frameworks, including Java, JUnit, Selenium etc.
+ Strong understanding of software design patterns, algorithms and data structures.
+ Experience is load testing/performance testing.
+ Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins).
+ Desire to interact with many different process owners to develop, test, deploy and report on product performance, quality, security and stability.
