A TIBCO Senior Sales Engineer (SE) provides pre-sales technical thought leadership and hands-on engagement on how TIBCO’s technology can help in the development and implementation of our customer’s digital initiatives that deliver measurable business value and extraordinary experiences to their customers.
What You’ll Do
As Senior SE, you will be responsible for making technical demonstrations and presentations regarding all aspects of company products focusing on delivering business value, partnering with sales executives in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications. You will implement detailed customer installation requirements and provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications to service personnel, company sales representatives, and customer’s employees.
You will have the aptitude and social skills to advance business opportunities and be an integral part of the sales process, ensuring any technical concerns and questions are addressed to ensure success in the sales cycle.

+ Demonstrated people skills to develop positive customer relationships
Technical Skills required:
+ Minimum of 4 years in a presales environment (includes hands-on building of proof-of-concepts, conducting deep-dive design & architecture workshops, doing hands-on demos at meet-ups)
+ Technical aptitude in at least one or more of the following areas:
+ Connect(Mandatory): Application integration, microservices architecture, DevOps, messaging, API management, open source stack, cloud eco-system
+ Unify: Master Data Management, Reference Data Management, Metadata Management, Data Virtualization and large in-memory computing
+ Predict: Data Analysis & Visualisation, Machine Learning & Predictive modelling (in R, Spark MLLib, Python etc), Deployment of Advanced Analytics methods, Streaming Data.
+ Expected to develop the necessary technical skills to be able to:
+ Articulate the value from TIBCO solutions
+ Perform thorough analysis of customer requirements
+ Demonstrate product features and benefits
+ Position product within the TIBCO Connected Intelligence Platform
+ Lead a team designing and deploying TIBCO technology
+ Contribute in technical POCs and RFI/RFPs
+ Speak at Industry Events, Meetups, and Workshops
+ Particularly for this role, expertise in the following technology streams are required:
+ Thought Leadership: Best practices in Microservices Architecture and Design, Dev-Ops & CI/CD, and API Management
+ Eco-system Knowledge: Docker, Kubernetes (OCP, Pivotal PAS/PKS), Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
+ Development Experience: Spring/Node.js, Golang
Education:BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
