Eaton’s electrical business, based
in Sydney, Australia. In Eaton, making our work

This exciting role offers the
opportunity to:

+ Work closely with the sales organization as the
technical specialist in critical power solutions

+ Establish client requirements and engineer
solutions to meet these requirements

+ Work closely with consulting engineers on
specifications and solutions

+ Leverage technical qualification and years of
experience to also enable both internal and external stakeholders through
trainings and support

+ Responsible to keep updated with technical
advancements and trends influencing the critical power industry and markets

Your essential responsibilities:

+ Prepare
written proposals for submission to the customer. Driven for detail and
accuracy with numbers are also primary

+ Work
with the sales team, end-users and consultants to understand the customer’s

+ Develop
solutions aligning Eaton’s product set with customer’s requirement

+ Build
relationships with consultants, key customers and the sales team. Use
initiative and possess a positive attitude towards teamwork is critical

+ Create
mechanical and electrical drawings to support project submission

+ Deliver
presentations on Eaton’s solutions to external and internal stakeholders

+ Provide
input for new product development and champion innovation initiatives


If you have:

+ Diploma or Certificate 4 in Electrical Engineering

+ 6 years of Electrical Engineering Experience

+ With experience in Telecommunications and Data
Center segment

+ Technical experience with knowledge of critical
power products and systems

+ Computer Literacy is essential, particularly with
M/S Outlook, Word and Excel

+ A good working knowledge of Australian electrical
standards and industry practices
