**Title:**

Senior Designer – Rail

KBR have recently won a major opportunity on the Sydney rail network so we are looking for an experienced Designer to join our highly skilled and diverse drafting team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and work on a variety of secure, long term rail projects across NSW.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Complete detailed designs for civil and structural engineering projects

+ Produce work within agreed timeframes with a focus on cost and quality

+ Work within Australian Standards, KBR drawing office procedures and established industry practices

+ Demonstrate an understanding of internal and external client needs

+ Work with other staff in the team to co-ordinate related activities and mentor/guide junior designers

+ Contribute innovative ideas to the drafting team

+ Demonstrate a desire to improve quality and efficiency of the services

+ Display an appropriate balance of practicality and innovation in your work

**Qualifications & Experience**

+ Civil Engineering Diploma or Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering

+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience using 12D or Civil 3D for civil infrastructure projects

+ Experience designing in accordance with Transport for NSW Standards for Road and Rail Design

+ Proficient using AutoCAD 2018

+ Familiar with ProjectWise collaboration software
