Job Description

As an Senior Application Scientist/Engineer you will work closely with the Biotech Companies and Pall’s commercial team. You will provide technical pre- and post-sales support for integration of Pall Technologies into customer process. You will conduct feasibility assessments and technical consultations for Pall’s biopharma customers.

Key Focus

+ Apply Pall technologies to create sustainable process solutions to our clients

+ Lead feasibility assessments, bench trials and training for customers regarding the application of Pall solutions

+ Drive technical consultations involving scale up/down testing plans and data review, sizing and compatibility recommendations, and troubleshooting customer technical issues and field investigations

+ Maintain close contact with clients during projects. Including, but not limited to, site visit to customers, test work, on-site training & presentations, and updating project status

+ Address post-sales customer inquiries & troubleshooting issues regarding the solutions, while building knowledge for future reference

+ Internal project work in support of generating data to create technical posters/presentations for conferences, Pall Application Notes, and publications

+ Act as a voice of customer feedback through regular communication with other Pall Groups (marketing, applications R&D, and other SLS team)

+ Continuously improve and maintain good knowledge of regulatory trends, issues and guidelines regarding the product

+ Attend training courses & assist with training/mentoring/coaching of new team members

Key Requirements

+ Degree in life-sciences, chemical / biological engineering or relevant field

+ At least 7 years’ experience in biologics / biotech / biopharma industry in process development / technical applications / manufacturing design function

+ Familiarity with downstream biopharma manufacturing process

+ Hands on experience with filtration / purification technologies such as chromatography, tangential flow filtration (TFF), virus removal/inactivation

+ Background in biopharmaceutical R&D is essential

+ Self-starter, who is independent and takes pride in being accountable for top quality work

+ Hands on and passionate candidate, who is willing to roll up their sleeve and enjoys juggling a variety of task

+ Open to travel up to 30% of time
