A great opportunity for a Senior Accountant that specialises in Internal auditing! Your new company Our client is a well reputable and local Canberra company that specialises in multiple business ventures specifically with a focus on property development. Your new role DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: 1. Responsible for all accounting requirements of the group and its associated entities including, but not limited to: • Monthly management financial reports. • Analysis of financial and other data. • Monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet items. • Preparation of monthly BAS's for SF and SMRF. • Preparation of the annual budget and other forecasts. • Review coding of AP invoices and authorisation of payment batches. • Review monthly bank reconciliations. 2. Manage cash flow requirements and facilitate investment documentation for SF and SMRF. 3. Critically review, analyse, and provide advice on all current and proposed investments as required. Ensure compliance with investment policies. 4. Confidently lead discussions in the investment committee. Prepare an agenda, respond to action items and review meeting minutes. 5. Year-end financial reporting requirements including preparation of financial statements, submission of annual returns with ACNC and liaison with the auditors as required.
