Job Description:

Work closely with the Field Sales Managers in the assigned territory to assist the sales cycle as the technical expert.

Identify and drive to closure sales opportunities with key assigned accounts around specific product categories that require significant technical knowledge and learning

Conduct technical trainings in-market designed to increase sales and product adoption with key accounts.

We’re seeking individuals who possess excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills; who have professional install and configuration experience in networking and home automation and strong sales acumen and experience. The selected candidate will have a strong knowledge of the sales cycle and will be instrumental in bridging the technical obstacles to increase sales. This job will require 50% – 75% of travel.

Description of Duties

+ Work along with the Field Sales Team to identify dealers targeted for key product adoption goals

+ Identify sales opportunities in the market with dealers

+ Provide onsite training and project design with dealers adopting new categories to shorten their learning curve

+ Prospect and identify dealers in the territory or are good sales opportunities by product category

+ Other duties as assigned necessary to increase sales in the market

Qualifications

+ Experience selling, installing and supporting technically advanced products such as networking, home automation and other consumer electronics

+ Strong understanding of the sales cycle, B2B and B2C relationship building and nurturing

+ Solid presentation skills and the ability to impart technical knowledge to an audience

+ Ability to identify and overcome objections with customers during the sales cycle

+ Ability to coordinate with other members of the sales team to communicate issues, identify and close opportunities and drive sales

+ Ability to travel extensively.]
