**Your Opportunity**

We have an exciting full
time, permanent opportunity for you to join the Cargill Agricultural Supply
Chain (CASC), Grain Operations team as a Regional Operations Manager for our grain
storage and handling facilities in Victoria and South Australia. Reporting to the Grain
Operations & Supply Chain Lead, this is a busy role calling for exemplary
leadership skills leading multiple grain site operations.

You will be an
integral member of the grain operations management team and drive a culture of
innovation, continuous improvement, accountability and ownership across our
grain handling and storage facilities. You will drive our key performance
metrics as set by the business through our Operational Excellence model, Risk
Management being Health and Food Safety, Productivity, Reliability, Capital
Effectiveness & Talent Management. Drive and promote our Quality Management
System through implementation and compliance to operational procedures, best
practices and people development and ensure timely delivery on the functional
plan and commercial expectations of the business.

You will have a proven track record in Operational leadership and will
preferably have experience in Grain operations and lead a high performing team
for Victoria and SA region. You will bring in your superior leadership/people
management skills, high emotional intelligence and superior conflict management
skills to develop positive working relationships with internal and external
stakeholders.

Key
responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

+ Risk Management for the region including compliance to safetystandards and goals, Food safety standards; goals and Inventory Management;

+ Drivingcompetitive excellence and continuous improvement culture across the region.Ensure highly efficient site operations with a view to general operationalexpenses, labour management, energy reduction and grain quality controlincluding shrink management;

+ Contributingto the development and implementation of the Annual Reliability Strategy forall sites within the region;

+ Lead talentmanagement for the region including operational training programs, engagementsurvey improvement, performance development plans, etc.;

+ Lead andmanage the regional capital management program (CAPEX). Ensure there is a focuson delivering projects safely, on time and in budget;

+ Contributingto the development and implementation of the Functional Plan and Strategy forthe storage and handling network with a focus on operational excellence.

be successful in this role, you will have a background in operations management
within Agriculture /Supply Chain/Engineering or related industries and
demonstrate:

+ Excellentleadership skills in managing multiple site operations and remote teams;

+ Passion forinnovation/automation and drive continuous improvement;

+ Leadershipin the development and implementation of business/regional strategy;

+ Ability to drive andpromote a safety culture which aligns with Cargill’s values;

+ Ability toadminister operational training on Operational Work Instructions;

+ Ability anddesire to learn technical deep knowledge on grain quality-handling;

+ Provenproblem solving and project management skills;

+ Excellent interpersonal, organisation andtime management skills;

+ Strengths inmanaging conflicting priorities with positive outcomes;

+ Excellentanalytical and decision making skills;

+ Resilienceto cope with and manage change;

+ Intermediateto advanced ability in MS-Office Suite, database analysis, etc.;

**Qualifications and other requirements**

+ Tertiary qualifications in BusinessManagement, Agricultural Science, Supply Chain or a related discipline will be well regarded;

+ The position will requireflexibility and ability to travel to the grain operation sites in the region;

+ Australian Driver’s License;
