This role will be located at InEight’s Australian office located on St. Kilda Road, Southbank, Melbourne.
You will be responsible for playing a critical role in the design, development and implementation of best-in-class educational content across a range of modalities and platforms in support of InEight’s products and services. This content serves as a key pillar educating both internal and external clients for our rapidly expanding global customer base across the construction and engineering sector.
Working as part of a close-knit team in Melbourne, you will be a highly self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a passion for learning. You will have extensive experience in designing and implementing a broad range of content including, but not limited to, user guides, interactive eLearning, videos and tutorials. You will also have prior experience in managing and maintaining a Learning Management System to ensure content remains relevant and accessible.
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
+ Manage the end-to-end process of designing, developing, implementing and evaluating educational materials across a range of mediums.
+ Partner with internal stakeholders across all business units to identify key learning objectives for the effective design and creation of training content across varied audience types.
+ Lead ongoing reviews of instructional design standards and the development and refinement of course curricula and competencies as required.
+ Document strategic approaches to instructional, visual and technical education and applying them according to identified learning objectives.
+ Develop interactive eLearning content including simulations and both formal and informal assessment activities using Articulate Storyline.
+ Author, edit & format content including scripts, storyboards, tutorials, user guides, quick guides, instructional videos and in-app resources.
+ Support the global Education team in establishing and maintaining content for our Learning Management System and online Knowledge Library.
+ Create and Maintain LMS procedures, processes and standards.
+ Primary point of contact for both internal department stakeholders and external stakeholders including clients and partners for LMS.
+ Provide vision for extending utilization of LMS.
+ Provide expertise and maintain currency regarding the LMS platform and advise other relevant stakeholders of significant updates to the system.
+ Assist with coordination of the transition of Level 1 LMS support to the customer support team.
**Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:**
+ Minimum of 3+ years experience in a similar Instructional Design or Training role.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or related field (preferred).
+ High-level proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Articulate RISE/Storyline.
+ Intermediate video production skills (experience with Camtasia preferred).
+ Previous experience with Learning Management System administration and content development.
+ Strong writing and visual design skills with superb attention to detail.
+ Outstanding communication skills with a focus on customer expectations and satisfaction
+ Strong time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
+ Comprehensive understanding of adult learning theories, ADDIE and best practices for online and instructor-led training.
+ Experience with MadCap Flare and WalkMe highly regarded.
+ Experience working in the construction industry (e.g., Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, and/or Mining) advantageous.
+ Familiarity with Agile, SAM or LLAMA development methodologies highly regarded.
