If you are passionate about computer technology and eager to develop a career in technology sales, Dell is the place to be. We are looking for a Inside Sales Account Manager to work as part of the Inside Led Team within the Global Client and Compute team based in Sydney (Frenchs Forest office).
Sales will be generated over the phone by building relationships with our corporate customers, conducting a needs analysis and building an IT solution to meet customer’s needs. You will need to ensure customer expectations are met at all times. The scope of the position includes new account allocations as well as the development and maintenance of existing clients within the account base allocated.

+ • Responsible for higher number of large accounts
+ • If account/acquisition focused individual responsible for: – Highest revenue spend in business and/or account complexity within assigned business – Greatest strategic value within assigned business
+ • Accomplished level sales representative, influencing how others engage/interact with client set
+ • The customer/partner experience is highly dependent on the performance and accuracy of the specialist and as such, has a significant impact on the customer/partner relationship and the future spend with company
+ • Uses thought leadership to build customer relationships and assist customers/partners in developing business solutions using company products and services
+ • Coaches others in closing complex deals and assists others in keeping up-to-date on company’s technology, products, and services
+ • Exhibits a broad base knowledge of multiple or related industries as well as an acute business understanding
+ • Organizes internal/external resources in response to customer/partner needs
+ • Develops relations with key vendors to better position industry technology within company solutions
+ • Focuses self and team on the most critical activities that support the sales environment and the customer/partner
+ Previous Account Management and Sales experience within the IT sector (3-4 years)
+ Experience in relationship selling or appropriate industry experience/exposure
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Self-motivated, well organised and able to work well within a team
+ Strong Customer Service ethic
+ Well-developed negotiation and sales persuasion skills
+ Consultative selling skills.
+ Strong organisational skills
+ Strategic thinker
+ An intimate understanding is required for PC Components, Enterprise products and the various aligned products
+ PC/Vendor experience
