Minimum qualifications:

+ BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

+ Experience in strategy consulting or in a sales organization.

Preferred qualifications:

+ MBA degree or equivalent practical experience.

+ Track record of developing business plans, setting and supporting delivery against objectives and key results (OKRs).

+ Proven success in project management, execution and multitasking.

+ Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills with a structured thinking approach.

+ Excellent stakeholder management, relationship development and influencing skills.

+ Ability to crunch large sets of complex data.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The in-country Go-to-Market (GTM) organization acts as a strategic and operational adviser to our sales leadership team. In AUNZ, we help to set the focus, pace and direction of our business across Australia and New Zealand and unite teams to deliver on important business opportunities.

In this role, you will help set the Go-to-Market agenda, and you’ll take responsibility for setting priorities and plans and bringing these to reality for the business.

You’re passionate about both business strategy and operations, have excellent problem-solving skills, are great at building insights from data, and seek to drive process improvements and consistency. You balance all of this with a pragmatic sense of getting things done.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

+ Work with a country manager and vertical leads to help define annual strategy and priorities, set success goals, ensure and track successful execution, and conduct quarterly business reviews.

+ Work on strategic projects to surface new actionable insights on key strategic challenges.

+ Help run daily operations and assess and improve business growth operations. Assess and improve operational efficiency and rigor across workflows, processes, reporting tools.

+ Identify and define best practices from across the globe and scale in AUNZ.
