This role will be responsible for delivering News Corp’s Publishing Planning and Performance requirements to deliver high-quality financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic insight for all internal and external stakeholders. This role will also be responsible for delivering operational excellence of the Planning & Performance function including continuous process improvement, automation and standardised financial planning and reporting, to deliver a best-practice finance function.

**What’s the role?**

+ Oversee the Planning & Performance process for gathering, consolidating, budgeting, forecasting and reporting against the primary business KPIs

+ Analyse business performance trends and drivers to explain actual vs budget & forecast variances

+ Respond to ad-hoc requests from the CFO/CEO/COO and various members of the executive team and Global Head Office (New York)

+ Build collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders, including Finance Director, respective Finance GM’s, Corporate Reporting and Treasury teams

+ Ensure accurate, relevant and timely communication of monthly, quarterly and annual budget and forecast cycles

+ Drive continuous improvement of the Planning & Performance function and financial planning process to enable efficient responses and a deeper level of analysis

+ Lead, develop and grow Planning & Performance analysts by providing regular coaching, support and performance feedback

**Who are you?**

+ Fully CA/CPA qualified (preferred)

+ 5+ years of proven experience in an FP&A or Commercial Finance position(s)

+ Strong written & communication skills at all levels

+ Meticulous attention to detail.

+ Demonstrated ability in process improvement

+ Prior experience with TM1 and Tableau is highly preferred
