We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to
manage and execute on a range of engineering projects across both our Manufacturing
Plant at Botany and our Corporate Office at Pagewood.
**_Key responsibilities include:_**
+ Project manage a range of engineering relatedprojects, this includes budget setting & adherence
+ Prepare detailed project proposals and seeking appropriateapprovals
+ Ensure the capitalisation process for allmanufacturing projects are carried out and finalised at the point of closingthe project
+ Management of construction or building alteration projects includingoffice relocation, preparation of plans and specifications for smallre-modelling, alteration and construction projects
+ Implementationof environmental capital upgrades when required to ensure programs meets alllocal regulatory, licensing and company policy requirements, and includesassessed site environmental risks.
+ Ensurecapital projects executed meet all local regulatory, licensing and companypolicy requirements, EHS, HACCP/BRC, MQFS, KWS (our lean manufacturing model) requirements and includeassessed site environmental risks.
+ Set directionand policy for the Botany plant engineering function. Communicate direction toproject team. Hold project teamaccountable for adherence to plant engineering direction and policy.
**_Skills, experience &attributes sought:_**
+ Engineering Degree or tradequalification in either mechanical or electrical
+ Previous working experience ina manufacturing environment, with a preference for food manufacturing
+ Advanced project managementskills and expertise
+ Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills
+ Financial acumen toeffectively manage and formulate budgets
+ A pro-active approach toproblem solving and a results focus
+ A people manager who caneffectively manage their team to a timeline as well support their individualdevelopment needs and goals
+ A team player who enjoysworking as part of a multi-functional team
