**Title:**

Cost Control Lead

KBR have recently been awarded several significant projects in Sydney and we are expanding our teams. We are looking for a Cost Control Lead to support this work with a particular focus on large infrastructure projects based out of Western Sydney. Our large pipeline of work over many years presents an exciting opportunity to work alongside a diverse team of the very best industry specialists.

**Key Responsibilities include:**

+ Manage a team of cost controllers to create efficiency, transparency and commonality of process

+ Setting up the cost control systems

+ Control of costs for engineering, procurement and construction activities

+ Maintenance of budgets and variations

+ Identification of trends affecting forecast cost at completion

+ Liaison with subcontractors and vendors and management of third-party

+ costs

+ Liaison with procurement, finance planning and management to accurately forecast costs

+ Preparation of reporting and invoicing

**Qualification & Key Skills:**

+ Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Construction, or equivalent in relevant work experience

+ Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role

+ Sound understanding of open book contracting models

+ Highly competent in Cost Control practices and Work Breakdown Structures

+ A broad understanding of other Project Controls functions
