**About the Role**

Club Wyndham Torquay is seeking a Building and Facilities Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Resort Manager the Buildings & Facilities Manager will be responsible for delivery of a maintenance and strategy, frontline planning, technical supervision and ensuring all building procedures are maintained to bylaws and compliance.

**Responsibilities include:**

+ Effective management of the maintenance team and all contractors on site including performance and ensuring work is carried out to a high standard

+ Ensuring all building procedures are maintained to body corporate bylaws

+ Manage daily contractor and onsite public area cleaners

+ Liaising with Owners, Body Corporate Committee members and Service providers

+ Providing guidance and advice on annual expenditure and budgets

+ Present a monthly building report

+ Maintaining up to date documentation and compliance

+ Attending scheduled Committee meetings and Annual General Meetings

**About You**

Previous Building Management and/or trade background experience and demonstrate the following:

+ Sound knowledge of Strata, Building Management, Retail and Body Corporate

+ Professional presentation with excellent written and verbal communications skills

+ Knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Outlook, Excel)

+ Proactive and able to work autonomously or within a team

+ Must have excellent customer service skills

+ A positive attitude with flexibility to perform varied duties

+ Strong interpersonal skills

+ Project management skills
