**24month Fixed term Contract**

The Associate Project Manager is accountable for effective management and delivery of site capital projects, including project definition, business case development, budget management, coordinating design, CPA processes, procurement, liaising with contractors, suppliers, internal customers and management/overview of all project tasks.

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for prioritising and managing their workload and communicating any issues, constraints or challenges with the Capital Portfolio Manager. The Associate Project Manager’s deliverables will require the ability to implement project management methodology, coordinate individuals to complete complex tasks, manage conflict, problem solve, communicate with all levels of the organisation, identify/ manage risks, provide recommendations and complete updates to the appropriate governance forums or processes. The Associate Project Manager may also assist in developing project or business strategies as required.

**Major duties and responsibilities include:**

+ Provide leadership to cross-functional teams by defining clear, realistic goals and strategies. Remove barriers to ensure project progress. Facilitate rapid decision-making to support project delivery.

+ Implement Pfizer’s Capital Project Management Processes to deliver project scope in full, on time and budget

+ Responsible for developing and maintaining project budgets and providing project updates and information to support the financial reporting cycles.

+ Facilitate the management of resources in alignment with the approved project plan. Influence resource managers, communicate and proactively address any issues or gaps.

+ Organize, lead and facilitate effective project meetings. Identify and delegate action items. Track and facilitate action items to completion. Identifies and resolve project issues (if required elevate to higher management).

+ Coordinate critical reviews of equipment, facilities and services, including design, implementation and operation of the project scope to ensure delivery of appropriate, compliant, reliable and safe functionality.

**Qualifications and Experience:**

+ A technical degree in a field that is related to Pharmaceutical Manufacturing as a minimum a bachelor’s degree to demonstrate cross-functional planning and leadership skills.

+ A Masters or Doctoral degree are not required but are preferred.

+ No Formal Project Management training, certification or experience is required (however is preferred)

+ Experience in a Pharmaceutical environment/ sterile injectable (Preferred)

+ Delegation & Leadership Skills

+ Planning techniques including use of MS Project Financial management competency
