The FP&A Analyst will work closely with Australia management and global finance teams to co-ordinate the Financial Reporting of the Australia business. This includes monthly / quarterly / annual budgeting and forecasting.
This role will also be responsible for owning or working as part of a team on delivering on projects that lead to improved analytics or financial outcomes.
Financial Reporting and Planning
+ Co-ordinate (and own parts of) the monthly / quarterly / annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including preparation and streamlining of reports for Management
+ This will require working with all departments to understand and explain the financial story of the business to both the ANZ Management team and Global business units
+ Work with the finance team locally and globally to ensure accuracy of data in local ERPs and globally used systems.
+ Continually drive improvement in Sales reporting through developing new reports and metrics that help Management understand the drivers of Sales
+ Pro-actively roll-out new reports to understand these drivers (such as Price vs Volume vs Mix)
+ Align and improve reports and metrics with other Cantel business units Globally
+ Create the detailed information, but present the summary that explains it.
Own the models and processes to calculate the monthly Sales commission, ensuring the calculation is in-line with Corporate requirements and can be explained to both Management and Sales staff.
Improve system usage with the ANZ region through new reports, data and processes. Be a knowledge base for the analytics systems used within the ANZ region.
Support the Finance Director ANZ and Managing Director ANZ on various projects as requested.
Knowledge, skills and ability required for position
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce with further qualifications from a Professional Accounting organisation (CPA / CA / other)
+ Excel and Powerpoint Guru
+ Strong BI systems knowledge and understanding how data links together. Knowledge of Hyperion, COGNOS and a SAP-based finance system
+ 5+ years in a Financial / Sales Reporting role that has either been in Healthcare or a Product based sales industry
