**Your Role and Responsibilities**

Benchmark Consultant / Architect would be a part of a wider senior team of benchmark subject matter experts across multiple platforms and technologies.

This is a support role for the global Market Price and Benchmark support team.

The Market Price and Benchmark support team is IBM’s source for external competitor market price data. This data is from signed competitor contracts and is obtained both from external firms as well as price benchmarks IBM participates in. In this role, the consultant would be the lead integrator/assembler of market price data from all of the sources including: Market Price Studies, available market price tools, and price benchmarks of IBM’s pricing. This role would enable the broader benchmark consultant community with the latest market data from available sources, which is typically tracked at unit prices for managed services. They will also work hand in hand with the functional consultant leads, such that the available data is vetted by the lead consultant in the given area and the recommended guidance provided to the broader team. Experience required includes outsourcing market pricing, price benchmarking, ability to work in a global team, outsourcing deal experience, data analytics and IBM GTS services experience.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**

+ Proven experience in one or more areas of technical expertise and detailed knowledge on wide technology areas with Tech T-shaped skills sets.

+ Consultant mindset – Need to be able to research, comprehend and simplify for customer understanding.

+ Ability to understand technical material so that you can apply that to Market Pricing and Benchmarking

+ Financial background and integration of multi-tower solutions

+ Outsourcing deals experience.

+ Ability to work independently and in a group (across many geographies)

+ Pricing and Financial background.

+ Outsourcing deasl experience.

+ Previous Program Management experience

+ Deep knowledge of multiple system architectures

+ Networks and system design principles

+ IT Service Management concepts and principles

+ Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud Architectures

+ Architectural Thinking. Documentation skills. Knowledgeable in the Solution Design Method.

+ MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are also required for the development of key deliverables

+ Financial and Project Management skills

+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize work

+ Application of recognized architectural methods

+ Ability to understand complex architectures and embedded systems

+ Ability to work an unpredictable schedule and very tight timeframes
