Job Overview
Qualcomm’s Corporate IT organization seeks a candidate with expertise in Apple Mac System Management. This position will reside in a team that provides Enterprise technologies and solutions to the entire organization. The JAMF Administrator is responsible for system architecture, tracking, and troubleshooting Apple Mac devices and administering the JAMF environment for our business units. Also ensures that all Apple Mac devices are in compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter working with minimal supervision, adaptable, great communicator, results driven, and have a desire to investigate and implement solutions for a large, multi-faceted, Fortune 500 company.
Scope of Role involves:
Managing iOS and Android devices
JAMF/CASPER administration and support.
Teamwork, time-management and organizational skills.
Intermediate scripting skills.
On-call availability to independently monitor requests after-hours/weekends.
JAMF Certification & relevant work experience with Apple and Mac devices will be a plus
The job will involve exposure to:
Tracking of device inventory in the JAMF environment and performing audits of the JAMF system.
Apple/Mac and JAMF client problem diagnosis and resolution.
Systems Administration of the JAMF/Casper infrastructure.
Enforcing MAC policies and procedures in the JAMF/CASPER environment.
Providing support for loading commercial off-the-shelf and in-housed developed applications into the JAMF application catalog and help deployment of those applications.
Liaison with the business units for installations, deployments and, troubleshooting of new JAMF releases and also evaluate new MAC OS and device releases.
Prioritize and execute tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
Conduct research and resolve tickets from the end user community for mobile device issues and new products.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years IT-relevant work experience OR 5+ years IT-relevant work experience without a bachelors degree.
