**Role**

The main objective of the role is to lead a product development team that works on conceptualizing, designing, developing, deploying and maintaining complex technology products which help EY solve business problems for the clients. The team is responsible for building multiple technology assets which form a part of diverse product suite, to help our clients in the areas of valuations, diligence, divestitures, mergers and acquisitions.

A senior developer/architect with experience in leading a team and implementing an enterprise architecture framework. The successful candidate will be working closely with subject experts in the business to design and implement a software architecture to support multiple products being developed and deployed to internal and external clients. The candidate will be expected to assist development with the team, perform code reviews and guide the overall development of the products created. They should be familiar with agile development principals as well as a range of development skills.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Lead a technical team and be accountable for the overall design, build, delivery of tools and applications involving complex interplay of technologies

+ Translate high level business requirements/problems into sound and comprehensive framework through appropriate usage of advanced techniques and responsible for successful delivery of the products/ analyses/deliverable

+ Help incubate new products by executing Pilot, Proof of Concept projects to establish capabilities and credibility with users and clients. This may entail working either as an independent SME or as part of a larger team

+ Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients and stakeholders

+ Supervise, develop and mentor junior team members

+ Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members

+ Stay abreast of current business and economic developments relevant to the client’s business, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services provided

+ Challenge yourself to continually learn and teach, mentoring others while developing your own career

+ Promote the use of current technologies and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services provided

+ Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with EY offices globally to develop GDS opportunities

+ Lead and develop participation in proposals and business development opportunities and participate in responding to proposals and new business opportunities

**Essential skills and competencies:**

+ Experience in Solution Architecture and Design & code reviews

+ Experience in project planning, implementation and execution

+ Experience in preparing solution architecture documents using various architecture diagrams like Conceptual, Information, Functional, Logical, Physical, Component, Integration, Security diagrams

+ Experience in Azure cloud services, solution design, sizing and estimation

+ Experience in evaluation of Functional and Technical requirement realization

+ Experience in preparing proposals with Effort and Cost estimations, Design and Deployment considerations

+ Experience in fixing Performance and Security issues

+ Experience of creating and successfully delivering enterprise level software solutions based on the Microsoft development stack (C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Visual Studio, SQL Server)

+ Track record working with collaboration and software life cycle tool sets (e.g. JIRA, VSTS, GIT)

+ Development experience in a variety of languages and technologies, including C# and Python

+ Experience of working with a variety of APIs and RESTful interfaces

+ Experience of working with databases and web applications in analytics, reporting or Business Intelligence teams

+ Experience of having worked on software product development using agile methodology

+ Excellent people and team management skills

+ Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure

+ Excellent written and spoken English skills

+ Organized and structured in the completion of tasks

+ Experience of working in advisory/consulting/industry environment

+ Experience of working in an onshore/offshore operating model with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders

+ Flexible to travel to location within India and abroad to deliver project work

**Education & Experience:**

+ BE ( in Electronics or Computers ) or equivalent & a relevant PG course;

+ Relevant work experience of minimum 10-12 years’ in a software product development environment.
