Job Description

Job Summary:

The Mobile Outreach Driver transports people from site while maintaining the assigned schedule.


  • Operates vehicle in a safe manner. Informs supervisor of any unusual situations or accidents immediately. Complies with all traffic safety rules and regulations.
  • Assists riders entering and exiting the vehicle.
  • Maintain accurate logs per required standards.
  • Inspects and maintains vehicle daily for cleaning and safety issues.
  • Communicates with customers when delivering or removing the unit. Maintains communication with the staff to acquire supplies; maintains communication with QC technologist and report issues.
  • Delivers patient records, laundry and supplies to and from mobile unit.Mission Integration - Provides clinical assistance as directed by RN and/or physician.
  • Maintains maintenance logs, mechanics logs and details of vehicle performance.



  • Required Credential(s):
    • Drivers License specializing in Commercial credentialed from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles . (CDL) with Class B (commercial truck weight limit) endorsement required; no more than 8 points on record within the last 3 years.


  • HS or Equivalent
    • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Technical School
    • In addition to driving experience, Mobile Health prefers a graduate of a Medical Assistant or EMT program

Work Experience:

  • 3+ years CDL Class B driving experience required.
